Introducing to you today:
Noah is a photographer with a deep interest in classic America style. He admires art and finds great fulfillment in expressing his views and ideas through his photography and his personal style. A go to for him is his Gucci suede horse bit loafers and he loves his navy suit with a crisp white shirt and cutaway shirt.
IM: Who is Noah Williams and what do you do?
NW: I am studying communications, specifically Public Relations. For the last four years, I have been a freelance commercial photographer and filmmaker, and most recently two years ago I started a small blog and Instagram focusing on my personal style and some tips to go along with it.
IM: Why do you do what you do?
NW: I love storytelling and art. Getting to express my views and ideas through my photography or even an outfit is such a fulfilling endeavor.
IM: Style is a major part of your life. How would you describe your own personal style?
NW: I would describe my style as "classic American prep with a twist". My style consists of well-tailored suits and other sartorial items, but at the same time I will bring in less trendy and more timeless accents like french cuffs, or a collar pin. I love the classic looks, but in a slimmed down and refined version.
IM: What's your go to outfit?
NW: My go to outfit year round has to be a navy suit, crisp white shirt with french cuffs and a cutaway collar, and some suede loafers(dark brown if Winter, and light brown if Summer).
IM: Do you have a favorite pair of shoes? If so, what are they?
NW: My favorite pair of shoes all around have to be my dark brown, suede Gucci loafers. I don't often wear them with a suit but for more casual outfits they are my favorite.
IM: What's your thoughts on the Bova Oxford?
NW: I love the Bova Oxford for the warmer months. The material used is so soft, and yet still structured enough to feel sturdy. I think it is a really great Summer alternative to a normal oxford cloth.
IM: When styling the Bova Oxford, how would you suggest an individual wear the shirt?
NW: For vacation a pink, blue or white Bova Oxford with a pair of seersucker shorts and some drivers, and for the city evenings some white pants, with your favorite loafers and some no-show socks.
